Last night the Boys Be Good collective presented their newest body of work at Morton Fine Art called SOLIPSISSY. The works explore vanity, gay identity, and even spirituality. Artists included Nicholas Abriola, Armando Lopez Bircann, Christopher Cunetto, Cassidy Duhon, René Mauricio Medrano, Daniel Rampulla, Jason Edward Tucker, and Chris Walker.
I always look forward to what these artists put out there. It always comes from an honest place and I relate very much to the themes they explore.
I was particularly impressed with the video installation by Eduardo Lopez Bircann. Eduardo somehow connects the subjects in his works to a “visual spirituality” and it’s interesting to see how that person views themselves from the inside out. I loved it.
These two girls in the crowd got my attention right away. Their accessories were on point! This was the duo that made me whip out my phone to capture a fashion moment. LOVE!
